Originally built for the Newman-Hass Indycar team as their Indycar test team transporter, this 1988 Kenworth K100E Truck Chassis has undergone an extensive restoration. The restoration includes all new exterior and interior paint, new belly boxes, new interior and exterior lighting, a new generator, new stainless-steel hardware throughout, new tires, and a thorough mechanical overview to make it event ready.

The vehicle features a Cummins 88BCIV365 – 365Hp engine, Eaton-Fuller 9 speed manual transmission: RTX14609P, and a DS402 rear axle with a 3.70 gear ratio. The wheelbase has been stretched to 274 inches, and the vehicle is equipped with an engine brake, dual air ride seats, and a factory Kenworth vinyl interior in grey. Additional features include a sleeper bed behind the passenger and driver, Canepa Design KW Aero Package, and a set of 10 new 275/80R 22.5 tires with aluminum wheels in the front and steel wheels in the rear.

The vehicle boasts a range of custom features, including a fully enclosed van body with a lightweight formed steel perimeter steel frame, high tensile steel I-beam crossmembers, and a custom extruded aluminum upper rail. The Concept Custom Belly Box Package includes lightweight formed steel box construction, reinforced bottom pans, and custom formed aluminum doors. The vehicle is also equipped with a Concept 3,500lb Capacity Hydraulic Liftgate, a Concept Custom Side Access Door Package, and a Concept Custom Adjustable System for adjustable decking.

The interior of the vehicle features insulation in the walls and ceiling, painted wood panels, a pre-painted white aluminum ceiling, and a high durability floor finish. The Deluxe Generator Package includes a 4.5kW dual fuel generator, while the Deluxe Electrical Package features a 50-amp electrical distribution panel, 30-amp 110V manual disconnect, and all electrical wiring done in liquid tight conduit. The vehicle also includes an Air Compressor Package, custom additions, and accessories, such as black non-script rear mud flaps, LED full perimeter lighting, and fire extinguishers.
