This 1961 D'Ieteren Roadster is a breathtaking example, being the last single grill model made, with the chassis number 89483.

The engine is built on a 1960 Normal case, number P604667, and features a strong rebuild with Solex carbs, Mahle pistons and cylinders, and a mild cam. Additional upgrades include an MSD distributor and ignition system, 12 Volt electricals, and a small diameter generator.

The metal work, body, and mechanicals were restored to a high standard by Lowell Sivey approximately 10 years ago, with no rust present. The interior features gray square weave carpet with binding to match the Lobster leather, and the exterior is painted silver, although it was originally finished in Ivory 6004.

The vehicle has been stored in a climate-controlled garage and driven less than 4000 miles since the restoration was completed. Routine maintenance was performed as needed, and the odometer reads the miles driven since the restoration, not the actual mileage. As a result, it drives beautifully and needs nothing other than to be driven and maintained.
