This little tractor is the Swiss Army Knife of postwar small farming.Powered by a 6 hp Wisconsin single-cylinder air-cooled industrial engine that is so reliable, one pull and it starts right up!!The Model SD (stands for Super D or Special D-series) which means it had an improved frame layout, refinement to the controls and an upgraded dive-line details from the original D. It came out in 1947 and uses a tiller steering mechanism and has a 3 speed transmission. It is low and narrow and designed for gardens, orchards, municipalities and estates.These tractors were kind of the hot rods of the garden tractor world.
