The 722 model, introduced in 1972, was designed for Formula 2, Formula Atlantic, and Formula B competition, featuring a 16 and 18-gauge L72 aluminum alloy bathtub monocoque construction and a tubular subframe cradling the rear-mounted engine.

This particular March 722 has been restored to its former glory, with a dyno-tested engine by Dave Vegher and numerous titanium parts used throughout the build. The current owner reports that the engine has been run for only two weekends since its refresh, and the gearbox has been recently inspected and reassembled.
